For the next couple of weeks I will be teaching my Heroes about opinion writing. Today I introduced the topic by showing them a couple of YouTube videos about Facts vs. Opinion. We will practice writing about many of our opinions. We will learn how to discern facts and opinions in all forms of media. We’ll play “Would you Rather…” and write about it. I printed off some free Opinion Writing worksheets from Teachers Pay Teachers, but to combine Hero Training with our Writing lesson, I made an Avengers Opinion Writing worksheet. Your Hero can pick which Avenger he thinks is the best and back it up with three reasons why he thinks that. Enjoy!
